Mexican Garden

The heart of this Mexican-inspired garden is the wonderful people who live in the home, where hosting family and friends is part of their daily routine. The garden serves as a space for relaxation, cooking, dining, playing, and social gatherings, designed and built with inspiration from the Spanish colonial culture in Mexico and Morocco. A boundary of walls and vegetation creates a sense of privacy and intimacy, while natural stone flooring with varying lines blurs the boundaries between the garden’s interior and exterior.

Cooking and the fire motif are central elements in the garden, serving as a gathering point that symbolizes the warmth and vitality of the home. The most prominent feature of the garden is the vibrant and bold color scheme, supported by plants, pots, and complementary decor for a holistic and complete experience. We dressed the house in a strong red color, combining various pots, wooden and iron furniture, and artisanal works with plenty of character. Decorative items and textiles in matching colors create a festive and immersive atmosphere.

The lighting, crucial for ambiance and hosting, is scattered like jewels threaded through a necklace, completing the inviting and open look. The plant scheme was carefully selected for a lush and green appearance year-round, fulfilling the dream where the desert, succulents, and drought-resistant gardening meet the tropical jungle.
